Sarah teaches meditative yoga classes that emphasize slowing down, calming the mind and relaxing the body. She loves to incorporate yoga props and pose variations into her classes to help make yoga postures more accessible. The art of conscious breathing is a cornerstone of Sarah's teaching, whether it is through pranayama (breathing techniques), linking breath with mindful movement, or bringing awareness to the breath as the body rests.

After practicing yoga on and off throughout her teens and early 20's, Sarah became dedicated to the practice in her mid 20's as a way to help manage anxiety. Her experiences with the benefits of slowing down, simplifying and relaxing continuously guide and shape both her teaching and her life.

Sarah has completed the following yoga trainings and certifications:

-Uplifted 200-hour YTT with Brett Larkin, Winter 2017

-Yoga for All with Dianne Bondy + Amber Karnes, Summer 2018

-Relax and Renew® Level 1 with Judith Hanson Lasater, November 2018

-Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Kassandra Reinhardt, June 2019

As an Accessible Yoga Ambassador and Yoga for All Certified Instructor, Sarah believes that everyone should have equal access to the practice of yoga, regardless of ability or background, in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The yoga teachings have so much to offer anyone who wants to learn. Simply show up as you are, with an open mind and open heart, and enjoy the journey.

"Restorative and nurturing, her style of instruction meets any level of experience with skill, steady presence, comfort and good humor.  A slice of easy-flowing serenity, I find her class highly beneficial to body, mind, & spirit."
